THE DOJ TRACKER: PART V — THE EIGHT ARCS
Mechanisms of Institutional Interference
Each arc isolates a single mechanism of control.
Each one turns an internal function of justice into an external instrument of power.
Arc 1 — Ethics Offswitch → Target Pipeline
Core Line: Control begins with the capture of internal oversight.
Once ethics is subordinated, any prosecution can be aimed or erased.
Anchor Events:
Jan 27 – Brad Weinsheimer removed; ethics authority moved to politicals.
Mar 11 – Public Integrity Section gutted.
May 18 – Proposal to indict Members without Integrity review.
Jun 24–25 – Whistleblower Reuveni alleges Bove ignored court orders; Bove confirmed anyway Jul 29.
Sept 25 – Comey indicted after direct presidential demand.
Consequence: The Department’s ethics apparatus is reversed—from shield to weapon.
Oversight no longer restrains power; it legitimizes it.

Arc 2 — Civil Rights Inversion
Core Line: The machinery built to protect citizens from the state is retooled to protect the state from its citizens.
Anchor Events:
Jan 22–24 – Civil-rights litigation frozen; staff reassigned.
Apr 18 – Immigration records granted to political operatives.
May 3 – Voting Section redirected to “voter fraud.”
Apr 22 & Jul 17 – Civil Rights Division aligns with White House agenda and seeks leniency for Breonna Taylor killer.
Sept 8 – Schools warned for teaching “gender ideology.”
Consequence: Civil-rights law becomes a mechanism for ideological enforcement, not equal protection.

Jul 10–11 – Polygraph loyalty tests and mass firings.

Anchor Events:
Feb 10 – FCPA enforcement paused.
May 12 – White-collar investigations cut.

May 2 – 8 percent budget cut; $2 billion in grants eliminated.
Apr 23 – Hundreds of justice grants cancelled.

Closing Statement
The pattern is not subtle:
Capture oversight. Invert mission. Starve resources. Control speech.
What remains of the Department of Justice is an administrative frame still called by its old name — but no longer governed by its old laws.
